Today, a message from my cousin Audrey, who is now 12 weeks pregnant after loosing a child at birth (my goddaughter Daphne) and two more that never got to term. This one was sent by my dad : Happy the one who believes. It speaks to me for many reasons. First, it can apply to a variety of things; a god, yourself, something or someone. And also because my dad is somebody who always had faith in me and in himself. At 71, he just started a new job as a security guard. He is a role model for me and I owe a lot of my own confidence to him.

Depuis le début de l'hiver, je traine cette petite déesse que j'ai fabriquée en fimo et que j'ai baptisée Bertha. Chaque jour, j'essaie de lui ramasser une aiguille de sapin ou d'épinette, un bout de cèdre ou de verdure en offrande, que je place dans mon médaillon.

Since the beginning of winter, I have been carrying this little goddess that I made in fimo called Bertha. Every day, I try to pick up a fir or spruce needle, a piece of cedar or some other greenery as an offering to put in my locket.
